"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace." - Milan Kundera (b. 1929) Czech author

Retro Rover-The First Ever Dog Film
Proof that as long as people have been working, a dog has been waiting eagerly for them to come home. This film, made in 1895, by the Lumiere brothers, early french pioneers of cinematography. It shows workers leaving the Lyon factory in France, and wandering though the crowd, a dog clearly anxious for the exit of his master!
Nice one! Stay warm where you are. We are going swimming tomorrow? Well we will be if the rain does not stop. Have a terrific Thursday. Best wishes Molly
