If you have a dog, you will most likely outlive it; to get a dog is to open yourself to profound joy and, prospectively, to equally profound sadness.

In Memory of Hank
There is nothing like the sweetness of an old dog. Sadly, a lovely older pug Hank crossed over the bridge. Though we never met him we will always think of him fondly. I love this picture of Hank, one look at his eyes and you can tell how loved and contented he was. Truly, we are lucky to love and be loved by our dogs.
