Happy Gotcha Day Rin Tin Tin

94 years ago today a US Air Force WWI pilot was searching through the rubble of a bombed out German Airfield in France when he discovered a litter of German Shepherd puppies.  The pilot, whose name was Lee Duncan, adopted two of the puppies, a male and a female.  Sadly the female, Nanette, died shortly thereafter, but the male, went onto become the most famous canine film star of all time---Rin Tin Tin.

Happy Gotcha Day to Rin Tin Tin!
