The Spinone Italiano (one of my favorite breeds, I would love to own one some day) and a tasty recipe
Pasta with Slow Cooked Tomato Basil Sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 10 cloves garlic, chopped coarsely (about 1/3 cup)
- 1 large yellow onion, diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 3 28 oz cans of Muir Glen Tomatoes
- 2 whole dried bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup firmly packed basil leaves, cut in slivers with kitchen scissors
- 1 1lb dried spaghetti
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Serve over spaghetti with Parmesan cheese.
Now that's my kind of recipe! Thanks for sharing... might have to try this one :)
