Of course if you sample the recipe we are sharing today, you will not have a hard ten body, but you will have a happy tummy!
Broiled Cheese from Ina Garten
1 1/2 lbs of semi soft cheese (you can go high brow and get fancy schmancy Italian Fontina or Comte OR you can go low rent like we did and use supermarket Danish Fontina or mozzarella, either way it will be tasty)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary (or 1 tsp dried)
1 tsp chopped fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp dried)
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Preheat broiler. Chop the cheese into one inch chunks and place in a cast iron skillet in one layer. Drizzle over the olive oil and sprinkle on the herbs salt and pepper. Broil 6 to 8 minutes untill the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown. Serve with bread. Yum!
