Monday Mischief-Mother's Day Recap

We celebrated pet mother's day with a trip to Petco where we spent two gift certificates a friend gave us.  Weasley rode in his pet go sling

 Weasley's shopping choices consisted of Nutrical puppy suplement, a squeaky green alien toy, a mini antler chew, 3 nylabones, a teething ring, wellness puppy rewards treats, and doggie tooth paste (definitely a mom pick).


Then we went home for a nice brunch treat, Blueberry Dutch Baby

6 tbsp butter, divided
3 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 vanilla bean, split in half and seeds scraped out
1/2 cup of flour 
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup bluberries
powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat oven to 425.  Melt 3 tbsp of butter in the microwave.  Combine the eggs, milk, vanilla bean seeds, and 3 tbsp butter in the blender and blend to combine.  Sift in the flour and add  salt and cinnamon and blend to combine.


Place the remaining butter in a cast iron skillet and place in the oven until the butter melts.  Tilt the skillet to make sure the butter coats it evenly.  Pour in the batter.   Sprinkle over the blueberries.  Cook for 25 minutes and serve with confectioners sugar.
